Lake Erie might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of pirates. There actually were a few that traveled on the Great Lakes. The most well known pirate on the Great Lakes was Dan Seavey. He didn't travel with a parrot on his shoulder or a wooden leg, but he was one of the worst.
